How could Blogmas be complete without showing you my favourite Christmas jumpers of the year? Two years ago I never understood why there was such a hype about Christmas themed jumpers. All I thought was that they looked itchy, tacky and always reminded me of the Bridget Jones moment with her and Mr Darcy both looking ridiculous in their festive knits. When I had my first job, I started a few months before Christmas, so kind of got roped into the Christmas jumper day, meaning that I actually had to buy one in order to participate. I did, and slightly started to understand why it was a thing. No they are not making a fashion statement, nor even look remotely nice, but they are funny. They make you look like an idiot, but in the best way possible. Everything about Christmas makes people care so much less about things, and turns people into such free spirits, so silly Christmas jumpers actually fit in quite well. I am really glad that I got into it, and now I love pottering around the house in December, wearing my comfy leggings and a Christmas jumper. I have to admit, I am not a fan of the really heavy knitted ones as they just look uncomfortable to me, but the lighter and looser fits really do appeal. Mine from last year is pretty simple, bright red with the slogan saying ‘On The Naughty List’… i’m a little bit of a tease I guess. This year I kind of want to get another, so I thought I would share a few that I have seen around online over the past few weeks.
