At this time of year I often feel extremely lazy and unproductive, however it seems to be justified by the fact that it has just been Christmas and we are coming up to new year. So, instead of sitting around just watching box sets, I thought I would make better use of my time by sitting around doing blog work. I get the best of both worlds, and it forces me to actually get up and get dressed! As much as I adore Christmas, it has slightly tired me out, and I am excited to start getting the blog back to normal again. So to do that I thought I would do a normal outfit post in between the two festive times. The outfit is a true reflection of how I am currently feeling. For Christmas my mum gave me this beautiful scarf and clutch bag, which are slightly hippyish. I wanted to keep myself really warm as it is so cold, and I think I have also managed to adopt many trends that are happening at the moment.

“I am not one for always following the crowd with the latest trends, however sometimes I simply cannot resist.”

To begin with, I went for the simple jean and Ugg boot combination. Although, I opted for grey knitted socks that come above the boot. I have noticed so many other bloggers doing this, and I just adore how it brings so much more to a casual outfit, not to mention how warm I am! I then chose a beige fur jacket that I got way over a year ago, because fur also seems to be a big must have at the moment. I don’t often wear fur as I worry I will ruin it, but I found with this casual outfit it made it so much better with the colours and textures. The outfit was subtle, therefore this beautiful scarf could be very shown off, as well as the clutch. I also kept jewellery to a minimum, just wearing my new Pandora bracelet from my gorgeous boyfriend – a keeper I think 😉
