It takes a lot for me to admit defeat, but it is about time that I simply admit that I can’t keep up with everything going on in my life. Since starting working full time I knew that blogging would become more difficult, but I thought to begin with that I could manage it. I had set days off that would be dedicated to prep for the blog, so that I would be able to stay on track and not get too tired. This all started to change recently when I started working a little more just to cover people here and there, then have also started getting an entire flat ready to live in. With everything going on I have found it incredibly difficult to stay up to date and have started to feel the strain physically and mentally. My brain feels like it is constantly buzzing with lists of things to do and the pressure building up, tricking my body into thinking it is raring to go at all hours of the day. The only problem is that physically I have started to feel drained. Sat here now on a Sunday evening, my throat is unbelievably painful, I have a headache and the prospect of getting up tomorrow is a little unbearable. I have let myself get a little drained, so have decided that something has to give. For the moment, work is the way it is and getting the flat ready is a big priority, so I am going to need to take a little break from blogging. I am not saying that I am giving it up, not at all, I just need a few weeks off from it to focus on other things. I need to give my brain a rest, which hopefully will open up new and creative ideas for future posts. Obviously this also includes Youtube, which I have been really struggling with. I want to bring you guys the best quality content possible, which is useful, on trend and inspiring. If I keep going the way I am it is just going to become repetitive and boring, so hopefully a little break will be good for me and the blog. I don’t really know when I am going to be back to normal, but for now I am going to say I need at least two weeks to get my head together. I promise I will be back, hopefully much better than before πŸ˜‰ see you soon!
– have a great two weeks –
